General overview

I live in a typical Montreal apartment, full of character and charm. I have decorated it with taste to make it cosy, practical and fun to live in. It is on the third and last floor of a fiveplex, overlooking beautiful LaFontaine park. In the summer, the two balconies (front and back) are a joy to hang out and lounge on. The bedroom (Queen bed + many, many pillows) is adjacent to a boudoir (where I store clothes and get ready at a vanity table and mirror). The kitchen and living room are all in one open space with the Montreal-style, renovated bathroom next to it. I do own a turn table with speakers if you wish to listen to some music in a more analog way, but the Spotify app is also featured on my smart TV. Montreal is very lively in the summer with all its festivals, bars, restaurants, and its very strong park culture, but it is just as wonderful in the winter with Igloofest (a winter music festival), Montreal en lumières (the city's winter festival), the many christmas markets and all of the winter sports available. The city is also incredibly beautiful under a blanket of snow (but dress warmly!). The neighbours are absolute gems (friends), available to help if anything, while also being very respectful of everyone's privacy. I do own a cat and a dog, but they will not be in the apartment when you come. (The place will be professionally cleaned before your arrival).

  • We had a fantastic time at Roxane's cute and cosy place! We stayed for 6 weeks and truly felt like home. The exchange went very smooth, Roxane was a very thoughtful and considerate guest who took a great care of our home. The flat is in a great location in a beautiful neighbourhood with lots of shops and fantastic places to eat and drink near by. Roxane was an extremely generous host and made us feel very welcome and looked after. We would 100% swap homes with Roxane again in the future and would recommend her as a fabulous host! Roxane's dog Billy is very cute and well behaved and we wouldn't hesitate to host Roxane and Billy again!

Hi! I'm Roxane I love writing, live music and a good night at the pub. I'm open to everything but since I work remote, I prefer longer stays (minimum of 4 weeks). Reciprocal exchanges preferred but open to Globes and non-reciprocal exchanges. For short stays, I'd be travelling alone (or with a friend), but for longer stays I'd be travelling with my sweet, mid-size rescue dog (she doesn't bark, she doesn't drool, she doesn't destroy and she's very very clean). For any travel with my dog I would personally pay for professional cleaning before I leave.
