General overview
Our home is in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn close to parks, restaurants, shops and museums. We are a half a block away from 4 different subway lines that get you all over the city. We love sharing our home and city with other families. We live in a great location to explore New York and our apartment is a lovely place to come back to relax.
The space
Our home is on the second floor of a charming 8 unit building built in 1920's. It still has much of the original detail. Our dining room faces a tree lined street and has a beautiful green view. The large bedroom is at the back of the apartment and is quiet. There is a smaller second bedroom that out daughter sleeps in. It has bunk beds. Our living room is spacious and comfortable. We spend most of our time in the open area of our living room, kitchen and dining room. There is a common backyard space where you can grill, eat and read.

Neighbourhood
We are in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn and a half a block away from a street filled with restaurants and coffee shops. We are walking distance to the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Prospect Park. The subway is a half a block away and will take you into Manhattan in 20 minutes. It's a 40 minute subway ride to Grand Central or Time Square. We love living here!

Our home is a lyft, taxi, bus, train or subway ride from JFK, Laguardia or Newark airports.
Nearest airport
Laguardia is a 30 minute taxi ride.
Getting around
We are a five minute walk to shops and restaurants. The subway is a half a block away and can take you anywhere in NYC.
