Neighbourhood

No houses in our backyard! We live on 200 acres in rural NE Oklahoma. My mom's house is about 1/4 mile down the lane on the way to the lake. Most of our windows don’t have curtains because there’s no one to peek in them, better to enjoy the view. Plus we have amazing custom woodwork in the 1920s era design on all the windows.

Nearest airport

Tulsa International Airport is about 45 minutes away. Joplin, Missouri is 1.5 hours. Wichita, Kansas is about 2 hours. Oklahoma City is 2.5 hours. Dallas or St. Louis are both 5-6 hrs.

Getting around

You will need a car. We have a large SUV that seats 7 that may be available. We are happy to provide help getting around and suggestions. We are also happy to help care for your home and animals!

We would love to meet up or host. Relax in the peace and quiet on our porch, enjoy sunrise or sunset. Watch the horses run. Watch the hawks and our 3 Bald Eagles ride the air waves. Or meet us for a drink, tea, coffee, and descriptions and recommendations of local fun attractions and restaurants. Well behaved dogs are welcome. We are also happy to help care for animals and gardens, and happy to pay our host’s cleaners to ensure expectations are met.
