General overview
Hello, My husband and I are retired couple and our primary residence is in Greenville, South Carolina. We own our second house in Florida, located in a well-known community for retirees called The Villages. It’s located near Orlando and surrounded between the Atlantic and gulf, Florida's most beautiful beaches. The villages offer executive and champion golf courses along with live entertainment daily, dining, planed daily free activities that will keep you busy or relax by many pools you can choose during your stay. We are known for golf cart getting around or by car throughout The villages. We have three squares, Spanish Springs, Sumter Landing and Wildwood where you can listen to live entrainment, dinner shows, theater, shopping and dining throughout The Villages. Our home is fully furnished including a golf cart including all the free amenities offered by The Villages. There is so much to offer during your stay outside The Villages, such as kayaking with the manatees, seeing monkeys, alligators, exotic birds and more, you can take an Airboat ride exploring the Everglades, our world equestrian in Ocala, enjoy your time at Disney in Orlando and explore day or night trips through out Florida . We would be happy to offer you an itinerary to help you with your stay to complete your vacation . This is truly a dream vacation place to visit. We are looking forward to any exchanges in Europe, Canada, and in the United States. Dates are optional for us, being that we are retired and would love the opportunity to visit other places. This brand NEW beautiful Emerald patio Villa located on a wonderful corner lot. Our home is in the most desirable location of the Village of Richmond that offers the NEW Lake Okahumpka Recreation Center. Take your clubs out and practice at the NEWly-opened Richmond Pitch & Putt, located just minutes away here in the Village of Richmond. This home is close to: Brownwood Paddock Square (9 minutes by golf cart), many grocery stores
Close by to choose from. Water Lily Recreation Center, the NEW Sawgrass Grove featuring Sawgrass Market, the Southern Oaks Pro Shop, restaurants, a bar, and grocery options, McGrady's Pub & Kitchen and nightly live entertainment, the Ezell Recreation Center and many other activities.
The Home:
The home features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. The screened lanai leads into a spacious living room, dining, & kitchen area with a sliding glass door that opens to a screen furnished patio area. Corner lot.
Kitchen: Open kitchen with valeted ceiling and many cabinets. Comes Fully stocked with everything you will need, gas stove, stainless-steel appliances, and oversized island with 4 bars stools including a built-in desk including a printer. Stocked kitchen list provided on request.
Laundry: Gas washer/dryer included. Mop, broom, vacuum cleaner, ironing board, iron, and cloths drying rack.
Dinning room: furnished with beautiful wood dining table to set 6 people.
Open Living room with vaulted ceiling furnished with a
beautiful gray sectional recliner sofa, with storage and cupholders along with 2 USB port. Additional 2 nice swivel chairs, TV console with 55” smart TV.
This home has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
Primary Suite: king bed with plat form bed that has remote control that allows you to raise your mattress up for reading or enjoying your 45” smart TV. 2 nightstands, 2 lamps, dresser with walk-in closet & ceiling fan.
Master bedroom features dual vanity and private bathroom and walk-in shower.
Bedroom linens and bath towels are supplied for your stay.
Guest Bedroom: Queen bed, remote control platform as included, 2 lamps, 2 nightstands, chest of drawers, bench, ceiling fan and smart TV.
Second bathroom with single vanity and shower/ tub.
A plus with this home has a large open floor plan with plenty of windows in the main living area, and dining room that faces out to our large corner lot that borders with landscaping that gives you privacy when sitting out on your patio

Neighborhood Overview:
Richmond is one of the newest communities in The Villages and near the NEW Lake Okahumpka Recreation Center. The Brownwood Paddock Square is a short 9 minute golf cart ride away and features nightly live entertainment, dining and retail stores. Sawgrass Grove is a short distance and features McGrady's Pub & Kitchen, The Market at Sawgrass Grove and nightly entertainment. Edna's on the Green features food trucks and nightly music under beautiful, big trees. The Fenney Grille is another favorite local place where you can eat and drink poolside if you like. The Richmond Recreation Center is located is just minutes away and features a Neighborhood Pool for guests 30 years of age and above (with resident IDs or temporary resident IDs), picnic pavilions, corn toss and additional activities. The Water Lily Recreation Center is only a short walk or golf cart ride across the Water Lily bridge over the turnpike and features a Family Pool designed for all ages of guests and their families, billiards, bocce, corn toss, darts, pickleball, shuffleboard, table shuffleboard and tennis.
Area Overview:
. The Village of Richmond is easily accessible from the Florida Turnpike and is located approximately 49 miles from the Orlando International Airport and 65 miles from the Tampa International Airport. Grocery shopping is a golf cart ride away at Magnolia Plaza. Fun day trips include the Disney properties, Mt. Dora's waterfront and quaint shops, Ocala and the beautiful horse farms and especially the World Equestrian Center and the Gulf Coast Beaches and waterways including Crystal River and Homosassa.
Getting Around:
All Villages amenities are accessible by golf cart. There is a Villages GPS App available for download that is highly recommended. Directions are available for travel on foot, golf cart or car.

Hello! We are retired couple from Greenville South Carolina. We are blessed to have our five adult children and there beautiful spouses nine grandchildren. We live on a horse farm and love gardening and our flower garden. We are offering our second home in the exchange program in Florida. We chose The Villages because of the life style golfing sports activities entertainment all in The villages. Having our second home in Florida also gives us the opportunity to explore taking day trips visiting all the beautiful Florida beaches unique towns near by special events throughout Florida. We do as much when we’re there or just kick back and enjoy our home or sit around our pool reading a book and soaking in Florida the sun. We also love getting on the golf cart and cruise around The Villages. It’s magical!
but the outside of traveling taking day trips are overnight trips, exploring Florida, and all that it offers, including contagious beaches.
