Neighbourhood

Sidewalks on main streets, a handy traffic light for easy entry/exit, and easy walk/bike to eateries and shops. Highway is close by.

Nearest airport

Lansing airport is closest (LAN). Detroit is the most common (DTW), but Flint and Grand Rapids are options as well. Our house is near I-96 for easy driving access.

Getting Around

From our house you can easily bike to many local eateries and shops, including: - Juice Nation (locally-owned - smoothies, smoothie bowls, etc.) - Subway (sandwiches, etc.) - Starbucks (coffee, etc.) - Chipotle (mexican food) - East Side Deli (excellent locally-owned casual sit-down restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch - highly recommend!) - Persis Indian Cuisine (authentic - highly recommend) - Stillwater Grill (higher-end sit-down restaurant and bar) - Grand Traverse Pie Company (pie by the slice and whole, sandwiches, salads, etc.) - Jersey Mikes (subs, salads, etc.) - Tropical Smoothie Cafe (smoothies, salads, etc.) - and more We are within easy walking distance (1 block) from a bus stop (CATA bus system). Also, for those driving a car, we are also conveniently located to the I-96 freeway. For biking, there is a trail right across Okemos Road that many people love.
