We loved our time at Meredith & Matt’s place in coastal Maine! They have a fabulous setup with all the quiet and natural elements of cottage life plus all the creature comforts of a modern house, including a gorgeous large kitchen and a basement movie theatre setup. We especially liked paddling the kayaks on the quiet lake their place is on and jumping into the water from the swim floating dock. We appreciated Meredith’s recommendations for the best local beaches and hikes as well. She was very responsive and helpful in planning this exchange. We would love to go back!

We had a great simultaneous 2 week exchange with the Burgess family! Their large, well equipped family home is in a fantastic location right on a beautiful lake and just 5 minutes from the coast, complete with charming towns and beautiful beaches. The view from the back deck is absolutely gorgeous, and we really enjoyed using their row boat, kayaks, fire pit and swim platform. We also especially appreciated their super comfortable high-tech king size bed! Meredith was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed meeting the family, although just briefly at the airport. They were all around great exchange partners!

Meredith & Matt and family stayed at our home in Toronto for two weeks in July while we stayed at their place in Maine. They were excellent exchange partners: very responsive and easy to communicate with, and they made sure the house was left clean and tidy. Our neighbours also said they were lovely. It was nice to know our home was in good hands while we were away.

The Burgess family stayed at our home during a 2 week simultaneous exchange while we went to their home in Maine. We highly recommend them as exchange partners. They were great guests! We only got to meet them briefly at the airport, but Meredith was super easy to communicate with throughout the planning and exchange. Both my tenant and my daughter, who remained in Los Angeles, had the nicest things to say about their family. Finally, they took excellent care of our home and car and left it in tip-top shape. We were happy to have Meredith and family stay at our home in Chatham while we were away. As first time exchangers on PLU, Meredith’s communication was great and our normal cleaners were very happy with how our home looked after the exchange. While we couldn’t meet in person, we would recommend them for an exchange as they seem to have the PLU home exchange spirit.
