General overview

All of our dates are open if you have a place for us to go. We are a married couple in our 40s with a 7yr old daughter and three well behaved German Shorthaired Pointer dogs (one is 16yrs old). We home school our daughter and work from home, so have plenty of time to travel. We would love to home swap almost anywhere, as long as we can bring our dogs and would love for you to bring your pups to our home too (note: no fences here though). For shorter swaps (~ 1 week, we may be able to find other accommodations for the dogs). Winter Park, CO is our home (technically the lovely town of Tabernash). An incredible place to be through all seasons. We're located on the south side of an incredible cross country ski/mountain biking/hiking mountain (Granby Ranch) and are 15 min from the main Winter Park downhill mountain. Our breath-taking views overlook the 5000ac Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA, Sheep Mountain, The Never Summer Range (Continental Divide), and the Winter Park ski mountain. Pole Creek Golf Course and Restaurant is right across the road; <5min away. You can easily bike/ski over for a meal if you want to leave the car home. Lake Granby is about 15 min away for boating and fishing, the Colorado River runs through our county for fly fishing/rafting and the headwaters of the CO River, Grand Lake, and it's charming town is 30min away; definitely worth a visit! The Zephyr Amtrak runs right through town, so you can do an overnight trip to Glenwood Springs, or just take a day trip drive to Steamboat Springs, Silverthorne, Vail, Breckenridge, Copper..... They're all within about 2hrs from here. We can hook you up with lots of discounts and recommendations as well!
