Neighbourhood
Historic Fremantle has a lively, village feel and is on the World Heritage list. Fremantle has art galleries, museums, cinemas and an iconic market open Friday to Sunday. There are street festivals on throughout the year, with food trucks every Saturday night next to the beach in summer. Not far away is a shipwreck, the 'Omeo' where you can snorkel, and a scenic cycling path runs all the way up the coast.
Getting around
You can walk in minutes to local cafes and restaurants, or to the ocean. We are not far from the train and a regular free bus goes there. The ferry terminal to Rottnest Island is 10 minutes away for a day trip. We recommend you add a trip on down south to Margaret River famous for wine and beautiful coastline walks and drives.

"open to ideas, but Sydney, Melbourne good. We have relatives in The Gap, Brisbane who we visit. Obviously a good choice during Covid!"
