Our home is a beautiful and spacious 6 1/2 year old half duplex with a small but very private south facing back deck and yard. The home was built with thoughtful planning and impressive finishing throughout. Our contemporary chef's kitchen has high end s/s appliances, quartz counters, soft close cabinetry and a pantry. We lover to cook so the kitchen is well stocked with scan pans, Le Creuset and All-Clad cookware. There is a powder room on the main floor along with an open dining room and living room.
The second level has 2 bright bedrooms (one with a new Queen bed and one with a fold-down couch) and a full bath. The top floor features a stunning master suite with a newish queen size pillow-top bed, double closet, sparkling en-suite and a private South facing balcony overlooking the city of Burnaby.

Neighbourhood
Our home is centrally located with everything you need to make your stay that much more enjoyable. We are located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant.
We are steps away from one of Canada's top restaurants, Savio Volpe, as well as numerous other restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries.
If you are a skier, we are 30 minutes by car to the local ski hills and 90 minutes to the world famous Whistler/Blackcomb mountains.
We are 10 minutes to a number of stunning beaches and to Kitsilano Pool (Canada's longest outdoor pool - 3 times longer than an Olympic pool!).

We are a family of three who love to travel and explore other cultures. We have a beautiful duplex in Vancouver that is nearly new and well cared for. We are non-smokers and will treat your home with the same care and attention we would our own.
David is a full-time visual artist, Marnie is a publicist with her own boutique public relations firm and Jessica is a post-secondary student.
We are self-employed and our schedules are often quite flexible and are open to most locations for an exchange. We would also love to arrange extended-weekend exchanges with those in nearby communities including Victoria, the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, Seattle, Portland and anywhere in between!
