Neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is a quiet seaside village, set around the extensive beach. At each end of the beach is a 4-star hotel and an additional large cafe overlooking the ocean. Among these, a variety of outlets serve daily fine dining, lunch buffets, fish n chip, cafe style drinks, pizzas and burgers, all with outside seating and often with outdoor, live traditional and folk music during the summer months.
Nearest airport
Shannon Airport, Shannon, Co. Clare is a 40 minutes drive away.
Dublin Airport is 2.5 hours by car, as is Cork Airport.
Getting around
Within the seaside village everything is within walking distance. The supermarkets and smaller shops are within a 2 mile radius. All the mentioned day trips will require a car. A regular, daily bus service runs between all the rural villages in the county and the main town of Ennis. The 'Green Bus' runs several times between Dublin Airport and Ennis.

People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
