General Overview

Our cabin is perfect for someone looking for a cozy, adventure-filled or relaxing getaway in the mountains! It is a great summer base for exploring the north of Vancouver island. Our 4-bedroom log cabin is located in the main village of Mt. Washington Alpine Resort on Vancouver Island, BC. Nestled in the trees with mountain views and a private sauna, it’s the perfect retreat for all four seasons.

The Space

The cabin includes: 4 bedrooms (sleeps 10 comfortably) Ski-in/ski-out access to the lifts in winter Wood-burning fireplace & open living space Private sauna – ideal after a day on the slopes or trails Large deck with forest views Family- and pet-friendly Walk out the door and straight onto the ski runs - no driving needed.

Guest Access

There are 3 floors with stairs accessing each level, so unfortunately unsuitable for those with mobility issues. There is a spiral staircase to access the 3 bedrooms on the upstairs floor. The main floor contains a bathroom, kitchen, dining and living area with a cozy wood burning stove. The lower floor has another bathroom, sauna, storage room for skis and bikes and another bedroom with a double and a double with single bunk.

Fellow mountain lovers – we’d especially love to swap with homes near other ski resorts Why we love it: No matter the season, this cabin offers the perfect mix of adventure and downtime. In winter, we ski right to the door and spend evenings by the fire. In summer and fall, the trails are quiet, the meadows are full of colour, and the pace is peaceful and grounding. It’s a place to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature. If you have a home near a ski hill or in a nature-filled area, we’d love to connect for a swap – but we’re open to all kinds of locations and new experiences!
