The Space

Recently updated, Magnolia Beach Cottage offers you modern style living with a fresh traditional touch of yonder year. It’s a perfect home away from home!!! DECKS: Morning coffee or evening tapers anyone? The cottage has a multitude of spacious undercover and open decks including a large therapeutic hot tub/spa for you to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink as you relax and enjoy the view over the lush tropical gardens. LOUNGE: Just inside the front door is a spacious lounge and living room inclusive of 2 large lounges, an 8 seater dining table, air-conditioning and a large modern TV. KITCHEN Magnolia Beach Cottage offers a beautiful white cottage style kitchen. It contains all you need to cook up breakfast lunch and dinner, complete with large fridge, oven, stove top, microwave & Nespresso machine. Finished with a breakfast bar, the foodies will love cooking in this space, even on holidays. MAIN BEDROOM The Main Bedroom offers you a comfy queen size bed, ceiling fan and a wardrobe for your personal belongings during your stay. 2nd BEDROOM The second bedroom also has a queen sized bed, ceiling fan and a wardrobe. For those that have 6 guests there is the option of a fold out double sofa bed. Guest access You will have the entire cottage to yourselves. Whether you are staying as a couple, 4 guests or 6, Magnolia Beach Cottage is yours to enjoy. Security For home security there is one security camera attached to the front of the property pointed towards the driveway

The cottage itself sits onto an elevated crescent with the street view overlooking the beautiful Gold Coast city skyline. Enjoy the serenity of a secluded beach lifestyle getaway with all the amenities you could need not more than a 5 min drive in any direction! Sit with with your feet up on the front deck or lounge in air conditioning looking out onto lush tropical gardens. Then spend a beautiful evening under the stars out on the expansive back deck with a drink in hand.

  • We had a lovely 10 days on the Gold Coast while staying in Genny’s home. She made us feel very welcome and left lovely treats of wine and cheeses. Genny was available throughout our stay to answer any of our questions or concerns. We really enjoyed her lovely tropical garden and decks. The therapeutic spa was the icing on the cake. Genny left maps and tourist information that was very helpful. We made good use of the public transportation and found we could get to beaches and shopping centers within one hour by either the train or the bus.

  • This was our first 'completed' exchange ever and I did not expect it would literally help restore my faith in humanity a bit :) It was March 2025 and just days away from our once-in-a-lifetime trip to Australia, Genny was thoughtful enough to give me a heads up that a cyclone was expected in the area so I should monitor closely. She was incredibly knowledgeable, pragmatic, empathetic and super friendly through the communication despite this being one of the worst weather events the Gold Coast would have seen in 30 years. If it wasn't for Genny's constant communication, our trip would've gone very badly. However, due to Genny's proactive communications and kindness, we agreed not to move forward with the exchange and were able to make the necessary adjustments to our itinerary to enjoy the rest of our trip to Australia. Genny, thank you very much for being a gem of a person. I hope one day we are able to host you all in Toronto, meet you in the Gold Coast or elsewhere in the world!

  • We had such a lovely stay in Genevieve’s home and it was a huge bonus that we got to hang out with her and Wayne, we experienced true Aussie hospitality and had such a great time out on their boat! Her home is so cozy we felt right at home, the new decks are so nice and the hut tub was a such a treat. We had a really nice time exploring not only the beaches but also the mountains, the Gold Coast is beautiful.
