General Overview

We love the LOCATION of our house. It is at a walking distance to the city centre of Granada but it has the feel of being in the countryside. Located on a pedestrian street and overlooking a park, it is very quiet despite being only 20 min on foot to the city centre, on a local neighbourhood outside the packed tourist areas. We love the QUIETNESS of this place and the sound of birds in the morning. We love our patio and our GARDEN, where we grow our own vegetables and in which we have started planting fruit trees that begin to produce now. We are still in the process of creating this garden and it's a real pleasure. In the winter, we enjoy the FIREPLACE, which is a rarity, common in the villages but not usual in town.

We can offer our hospitality while we are home (since we have 2 free rooms) to show you around, help you with your Spanish or just meet and have a chat in town. We work full time and we have 2 little girls, so we do not have plenty of time, but we love meeting new people when we can.

Hello! We are a family of 4, Spanish-Colombians who love to travel, not vacation, but really travel if you know what I mean. We love spending a lot of time in one place, meeting local people, shopping at neighborhood grocery stores, and traveling slowly, very slowly. That's why we've considered PLU. We are new to home exchange, but we are very experienced hosts. We have been hosting people from all over the world in our home, from different sites such as workaway, airbnb and warmshowers (for bike travelers). We have also started a motorhome community group to provide shower, kitchen and everything else needed by those travelling by van. Our girls, aged 7 and 5, are very used to having international guests at home. Therefore, they are very curious about other cultures.
