Neighbourhood

This is the Warehouse Art District and is walking distance to French Quarter-6 blocks, WWII Museum-8 blocks and SuperDome-10 blocks. Casino is 3 blocks & Convention Center is 5 blocks. High end restaurants are all within 1-3 short city blocks. Every block has bars & restaurants. Small grocery in 3 blocks and main grocery in 6.

Nearest airport

NOLA International(MSY) is 15-20 miles and takes 35 minutes unless rush hour

Getting around

Walk everywhere. This is the best location in the city, better than the French Quarter. The edge of the FQ is only 6 short blocks. No need for a car once you get to the condo.

People Like Us Local Guide

We live in The Woodlands (Houston, Texas) so our NOLA condo is a 2nd home. We normally spend time in condo between December 20 and May 10 for events, specifically for Mardi Gras, French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest., Gretna Fest, Sugar Bowl-National Championship in NOLA Jan 2025, Super Bowl in NOLA Feb 2025, If a PLU member is staying at an exchange in NOLA or hotel elsewhere in the city, PLUs are welcome to meet us at our condo, have a drink, appetizer and sit on our spend our 12 by 30' deck. We virtually never use during summer because my wife is from Montana, I am from Denver and family lives in Boston, New Hampshire and California. It is hot but we have A/C. Therefore, looking for minimum 90 day exchanges after May 15 and before Dec 15 each year.
