We had a wonderful exchange with Ma Ángeles and Jaume. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and their home was spotless, tidy, and perfectly prepared for our stay. The location was ideal, just 40 minutes from Alicante and Biar itself is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of local castles and historic spots to explore. The local swimming pool was fantastic value, and we ended up going several times. Our hosts left us thoughtful gifts and shared lots of ideas for places to visit, which made our stay even more special. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for a brilliant exchange!

Our family is so grateful to Jenny and her family for welcoming us into their home after our original exchange fell through. Jenny’s home was comfortable, inviting, and perfectly suited to our stay and Leo the cat was wonderfully friendly and affectionate. The house sits beautifully on a hillside next to the Edinburgh Zoo, offering lovely views across the surrounding area, which we enjoyed each morning and evening. With just a five‑minute walk down the hill, there was always a bus ready to take us straight into the city centre. We stayed Monday to Saturday and never ran out of things to do. Highlights included Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh Castle, the zoo, the National Museum of Scotland, the children’s museum, and delicious pancakes at Stack & Still. We spent most of our days out exploring, but it was lovely to return in the evenings and cook our own meals in such a well‑equipped kitchen. There is a short walk up a fairly steep hill to reach the house, but we didn’t mind it at all. Jenny communicated brilliantly throughout and made sure we had everything we needed. We’re incredibly thankful for her kindness and flexibility, and we look forward to welcoming her family to our home in Bath in the near future.

We had a lovely Globe exchange at Clare’s home. It is a modern, large, comfortable home with everything you will need. It’s a great location. We visited several beaches and the excellent leisure centre which had lots to do on a rainy day. We also took our bikes and cycled some of the Tarka trail, which was close by. Clare left our girls an Easter egg each and a cream tea for the grown ups, which was very kind. Our girls loved playing with Luna their cat and using the trampoline! I would recommend Clare’s home as a good base to explore North Devon.

Shivani communicated extremely well and we were pleased to be her first exchange. Their house is a large family home with plenty of space and toys for children. We both have girls of a similar age so my girls absolutely loved the books, toys and dressing up! It was clean and is currently being renovated in some areas. The en-suite shower was fab and the girls loved the extra large bath! We spent our long weekend exploring the area. I can recommend the park in Rickmansworth and we also visited the National Trust park Cliveden. Both areas great for young families. We also took the tube to the Natural History Museum and to see the Christmas lights. We had a lovely short stay at Shivani’s home.

We felt so lucky to be Jen’s first exchange. We got to visit a beautiful area in Devon. Her beautiful home is cosy and warm. Very clean and comfortable. Our girls enjoyed the toys. Jen,s home is close to several beaches such as Westward Ho!, Appledore and Instow. It was the January break that we needed. I would recommend Jen’s place to you all. We hope to visit again sometime soon 😊

Jodie’s apartment was easy to find. Clean, comfortable and enough room for a family of 4. It was a great location, less that 10 mins from Warwick Castle. There was a lovely park a short distance away. Jodie communicated well before and throughout our stay. I would recommend swapping with Jodie.

Liz and Max have a beautiful home. We were welcomed with fresh bread and treats. Our girls were welcomed with toys and colouring. It was thoroughly clean and comfortable. A home away from home! Liz communicated well throughout our stay. We were close to the shopping centre, there were plenty of parks for my girls and we even found a role play café which they thoroughly enjoyed. It’s only a short drive to Winchester, where we enjoyed the Xmas markets. Thank you Liz for making us feel so comfortable!

Charlotte & Phil’s home was like a home from home. We felt very relaxed upon arrival and Charlotte’s information about her home were very clear. The chickens were very easy to look after and our children enjoyed feeding them each day. The location was excellent as we went into London easily as well as visiting the coast. It was a shame we didn’t spend longer as there seemed plenty to do in the immediate area. I would throughly recommend exchanging with this family and would definitely go back and explore the area further. We look forward to welcoming them next year sometime, as this was a non-sim exchange. Thank you so much for making our first exchange so easy!
