My father lives in the downstairs granny flat. It is separate with no shared spaces, so you will not see (or hear) each other. The house is private. You have two private entrances (your own front door and a back door).

Neighbourhood

Quiet, safe and friendly suburb, easy walking distance to shops, parks and public transport (bus) and the local bowling club for cheap meals. For a nice 30 minute walk, stroll through Heffron Park to Maroubra Beach.

Getting to my home

Uber/taxi from international airport is approx AU$25. From domestic airport is $20. If you don't have much luggage, the 350 bus goes from the domestic airport to Westfield Eastgardens, an 10 minute walk to my house. To/from the city, catch the 392 bus (35 minutes) and transfer to the 396 bus or the "light rail" tram at UNSW. The bus top is an 8 minute walk from the house.

Nearest airport

SYD (Kingsford Smith Airport) is less than 15 minutes drive.

Getting Around

5 minute walk to shops. The city can be access by bus/light rail/tram - catch the bus to UNSW and change there.
