The house is one level, except for 5 steps leading to bathroom.

Notes

My father lives in the downstairs granny flat. However you will never see or hear him (and vice versa, he has very bad hearing and never wears his hearing aid!). The house is totally private, with no shared spaces. You have two private entrances (your own front door and a back door).

Neighbourhood

Quiet, safe and friendly suburb, easy walking distance to shops, parks and public transport (bus) and the local bowling club for cheap meals. For a nice 30 minute walk, stroll through Heffron Park to Maroubra Beach.

Getting to my home

Uber/taxi from international airport is approx AU$25. From domestic airport is $20. If you don't have much luggage, the 350 bus goes from the domestic airport to Westfield Eastgardens, an 8 minute walk to my house. To/from the city, catch the 392 bus (35 minutes) and transfer to the tram (we call it "light rail") at UNSW.

Nearest airport

SYD (Kingsford Smith Airport) is 10 minutes drive.

Getting around

5 minute walk to shops and bus stops. The city can also be access by light rail/tram - catch the bus to UNSW and change there.
