Neighbourhood

Closest beach Mooloolaba - 15 mins drive - and access to all types of water sports - swimming, stand up paddling, surfing - countless many other beaches from Noosa to Caloundra - 35-40 mins drive. Several waterways and rivers to explore - including Maroochy River, Mooloolaba River and recommend the Lake Cootharaba area for canoeing (45 mins north). The stunning mountains of our Hinterland and Glasshouse mountains are 30-40 mins drive to the west - known for quaint country towns, art trails, wineries, craft beer trails and great hiking.

Getting to my home

Sunshine Coast airport - 20 mins drive/Uber to our home. If travelling via train - depart at WOOMBYE or Nambour stations - our home is a 15 mins Uber trip.

Sunshine Coast airport - 20 mins drive to our home. Brisbane airport - 1.5 hours drive north

Getting Around

If u have a car - easy to get around. open to discussions to provide a car with reciprocal exchanges

We live in a beautiful tropical location in SE Qld, Australia - keen to share our lovely home and local area for experiences overseas. Initially looking for what we don’t have - a holiday where we can play in the snow - late Dec 23 - mid Jan 24 - approx 3 weeks - and anywhere where there is access to great hiking in Europe/Scotland or Ireland
