General Overview
Our home is a comfortable easy living 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a front and back garden and pool and looking out onto an Australian bush reserve and only a short walk to the beach.
The Space
We have 3 bedrooms - 1 Queen Bed room, 1 Double Bed room, and 1 King Single, Trundle on legs in the third bedroom. We also have a cot for babies/toddlers that we can put up on request. If more beds required there is a double sofa bed in the Family Room/kitchen area.
There is an ensuite and another bathroom with toilet.
The kitchen is modern and there are 2 living areas with TV's.
We have a large pool with adjacent large undercover Pergola which serves as an outdoor eating area. Other outdoor seating areas are on the side verandah, back verandah and a bench seat on the front verandah overlooking the bush reserve. So you can always find somewhere to sit in the sun or out of the sun or wind.
Guest Access
The house is a single level with 7 steps up to the front door. The garage is underneath the house. Accessible access is via a ramp to the gate on the side street into the pool area and then into the house.

Neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is generally quiet with a mix of retired, middle aged, and families. The area was mostly built in the 1970's but there is now some redevelopment. All properties in the area are individual houses on their own titled lot.
The beach is surrounded by a reef where locals swim laps and snorkle is a 12 minute walk. There are 3 bush reserves within walking distance for short or long walks.
The Karrinyup Shopping Centre is a large complex and includes many cafes/restaurants, cinemas and other entertainment options.
The bus stop is a 5 minute walk and takes you to the Karrinyup Shopping Centre or onto the Stirling Railway Station.
Getting to my home
You can fly to Perth, Australia arriving at either the International Terminal 1, Domestic Terminal 2, or Domestic Terminals 3 and 4. There is a train from Terminals 1 & 2 to the city where a change is required to get to Stirling Station where a bus can be caught to a nearby bus stop. Shuttle buses operate between T1 & T2 and T3 & T4.
Taxi's and Ride shares are available at all terminals.
Nearest airport
The airport is 16-20km depending on the route you take. It can take between 25 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.
Getting Around
A car can be available for reciprocal swaps if arranged. We have one child car seat and 2 child booster seats as well.
Alternatively there are buses nearby to the large Karrinyup Shopping Centre only a couple of kilometers away where you will find a wide variety of shops, a cinema complex and cafes. These buses also go to the Stirling train station where you can travel into the city and beyond or to the northern suburbs.
Alternatively hire cars are available not too far away and there are always taxi's and Ride Shares.

People Like Us Local Guide
We are happy to catchup with other PLU visitors to our city. We would be more than happy to meet up at a coffee shop or a small bar to share what Perth has to offer and general exchange experiences.
