General Overview

Welcome to Calgary, and to Nolan Hill! A community full full of walking pathways and close to amenities. My home is open, modern and perfect for any family, couple or single person. A big kitchen is welcoming to a food lover, while the basement is a perfect place to cozy up to watch a movie. My garden out back with a large deck is the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine. A 3 minute drive up the hill takes you to a main thoroughfare which takes you down into the City Centre or head west to the Rocky Mountains.

The Space

I live in a 2 story laned home. My home was built in 2014 so relatively new. I developed the basement in 2020 (thank you Covid!) which allows for guests to have their own space if I am home while you are visiting. My home has a more open concept feeling. My main floor has a living area, dining room and front office. My back yard has a large deck to sit out and enjoy during nice weather. I have a garage in the back as well.

Guest Access

My home is 2 floors with a developed basement. There are 3 bedrooms up stairs and one guest bedroom in the basement. Guests can access the home both through the front or rear doors.

Notes

Banff National Park is about 90 minutes away. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake is a 2 hour drive away. Icefields Parkway runs from Lake Louise to Jasper and is one of the most beautiful drives in the world. Jasper National Park is about 4 hours away. Waterton - Glacier National Park is about 3 hours away. Drumheller where the Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum is located is about 90 minutes away. Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump is about 3 hours away. Calgary Stampede is usually the first-second week of July.

Neighbourhood

Nolan Hill was developed in 2013. There are many walking paths throughout the neighborhood. Grocery stores are within walking distance (Sobeys) or a short car ride (5 minutes away). Local restaurants can be reached by car or walking.

Getting to my home

It is best to reach my home by car, however guests in the past have used various car-sharing services to get to my home.

Nearest airport

The YYC International airport is about a 20 minute car ride away.

Getting Around

I am within walking distance to a small shopping area with a grocery store, restaurants and other amenities. More shopping can be accessed on foot (15-20 minute walk) or by car (5 minutes). The city bus also has many stops in my neighborhood which will transport you to many different areas of the city and also the train station.

I am a single female teacher who loves to travel. I currently own a 2 story house with 4 bedrooms-lots of rooms for guests! I have a lovely yard and garden out back. I am very accessible to major services and shopping. I also live close to the roadways to lead you out to the majestic Rocky Mountains.
