Jan & Jerry

We're Jan and Jerry. We love to travel, and we hate hotels. We used to be travel writers, and when we were doing that, we got free trips to all kinds of interesting places, from China to Mexico to Jamaica. But no matter how interesting the places we visited, the hotels were always the same. Perfect. Perfectly boring. When a fellow travel writer suggested we try exchanging homes, we did that ... and our adventures began! We loved our exchanges in Ireland, England, Mexico, NYC, San Francisco and more. But when our old exchange group became much less personal, we stopped exchanging. We focused instead on building a new home in our favorite place in the world: San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. If you haven't heard of this place, enter it into Google. You'll be surprised.
