General overview

My charming studio in Nice, France is ideally located in the old town and is a three-minute walk to the beach. The city of Nice is located in the heart of the French Riviera, one of the world’s most desirable stretches of coast. Discover excellent food and wine, interesting culture, and beautiful scenery. Nice is also a good jumping-off point for other popular European destinations by car, train, ferry, or plane with its well-connected international airport. Explore nearby hotspots: Cannes, Monaco, Menton, and the French Alps.

The space

The 22.5m2 studio is suitable for 1-2 people.

It’s on the 3rd floor (4th US) with an elevator.

Notes

No Sunday arrivals or arrivals or Monday - Saturday after 6:30pm since you won't be able to get inside our building to access our apartment lockbox. House rules: - No shoes inside - No smoking inside, or in the common space - No loud noise after 9pm. Please be considerate of our neighbouring families - No additional guests without our approval MINIMUM NIGHTS REQUIREMENT - Three-night MINIMUM for reciprocal stays in Europe. - Five-night MINIMUM for reciprocal stays outside of Europe. CLEANING FEE - A cleaning fee of 100 euros is applicable for all stays if you don't have time to do a proper cleaning, including washing the laundry so that I have clean sheets/towels for the next guest since I am often traveling and can't do this myself. However, this must be agreed on before booking since I am not always able to get someone to come an clean. I also have a well-situated studio in Paris that I sometimes make available for home swapping. It’s in the heart of Montmartre and steps away from Sacre-Coeur. I only have one week left in July for this listing for 2024.

I am originally from the US and earned my Ph.D. from SMU in Dallas. I moved to Italy ten years ago, where I eventually ended up meeting and marrying Matteo. He often travels with me, but sometimes I travel with my dad and/or one of my nieces and nephews. I teach history and US and global politics. Right now I work remotely, so I am able to travel much more than my husband. We recently adopted a corgi dog named Blueberry Maine because we love Maine and blueberries so much. While we are residents in Lodi, Italy, we have studios in Nice and Paris, France, making it pretty easy to swap.
