Enjoy our neighbourhood close to downtown Revelstoke, which is a 2-minute drive, 10-minute walk, or 5-minute bike ride to the shops and restaurants. Steps away is a children's playground and sports fields, and we're close to the community pool with sauna and the library. We're 7km from Revelstoke Mountain Resort, which is less than a 10-minute drive.
Enjoy the mountain views from the front and back of the home and relax on the deck. There is a Farmer's Market downtown every Saturday. (seasonally)
Some of the activities people enjoy here include skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, lake/beach activities, paddleboarding, kayaking, golf, biking, hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing.
The Space
From the front door, you enter the main living space, which includes a living room, large kitchen, dining area, and desk workspace.
The primary bedroom has a queen bed, an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a closet. The other bedroom will be locked off for our personal items.
Our basement suite, with it's own separate entrance at the back, has three tenants. They work a lot, don't party, and spend a lot of time on the mountain. Keep in mind that this is an older, renovated house; you will hear them, and vice versa. If noise transfer between the two floors bothers you, this may not be the right fit.
PARKING:
Driveway parking is for 1-2 vehicles only. We do not have space for trailers with snowmobiles, etc. Our single garage will be locked off because it's our storage and is too small for vehicles.
Guest Access
There are four steps up to the front door. Once inside it is one level. From the back deck there are step down to the back yard garden. This is a fully renovated 1953 home. Hallways and doorways are compact.
Notes
We have responsible and respectful tenants in the basement suite. They use a separate entrance, but since it's an older home, you can hear them, such as conversations and laughter.
Bear this in mind; consider it a "shared" home, yet the basement suite has its own parking area and entrance at the back of the home.

Neighbourhood
Steps away from our house is Queen Elizabeth Park. In the summer, there can be live music events to enjoy. There are two children's playgrounds and several sports fields. It's an enjoyable, short walk to downtown, the community centre, and a short drive to Revelstoke Mountain Resort. In the summer, we have two or three bikes that guests can use to get around town.

Hello! I live in Revelstoke, BC, Canada, with my 18 year old daughter. I'm interested in opportunities to trade my home for yours and travel to other countries. I lived in Vancouver and Port Moody before 2019, and I would love to spend more time in Vancouver, Port Moody, Bowen Island, or the Sunshine Coast. If you're into skiing (Alpine and Nordic) or snowboarding, Revelstoke is a great place to be. In the summer, we have amazing mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, and kayaking, and we have many lakes and hikes to explore. Revelstoke is an ideal spot to explore BC. Check out Mount Revelstoke National Park and nearby Glacier National Park; we are also a 3-hour drive to Banff. You might not want to leave this beautiful mountain town!
