General overview
Our funky 1 bedroom retro style apartment is located in the heart of South Yarra, just 15 minutes via train to the City of Melbourne.
The space
Our sweet retro apartment is currently being renovated and will have a new kitchen and a range of other updates such as plantation shutters. We will be keeping the funky retro bathroom - which we love! There will be a super comfortable queen size bed (153cm x 203cm) and high-quality linen. The apartment will have all the comforts of home. Note that there is a shared community laundry in the apartment block with a washing machine and dryer.

New photos will be provided progressively as the current renovation is completed and the apartment is set up and fully furnished. Our apartment will be available for exchange in 2024.
Please note - our home is offered for the quiet enjoyment of agreed guests only.
Please leave our home as clean and tidy as you found it. If you would like to arrange cleaners please let us know. Cleaning fee expected to be approx $120 AUD.

Neighbourhood
A wonderful base for exploring Melbourne and its surrounds. No car is needed. The apartment is in a very quiet location and just minutes from the heart of bustling Chapel Street and Toorak Road in South Yarra, which is on the south bank of the Yarra River. The Hawksburn train station is a 1 minute walk from the apartment and from there it is only 2 stops to the centre of the City of Melbourne. South Yarra is a fabulous area for shopping, cafes, restaurants, movie theaters, parks and gardens. The Prahran Market is a short walk from the apartment as is the Hawksburn Village and the Toorak Village shopping areas. There is a wonderful outdoor 50 metre swimming pool nearby - Prahran Aquatic Centre. Melbourne's Royal Botanical Gardens are a short tram ride away or a longer walk (if you prefer walking). It is also an option to walk along Chapel Street to the Yarra River and then along the river to the City (Melbourne). There is a diverse range of public transport available - trams, trains, buses - that can quickly take you all over Melbourne. Trams along Chapel Street will take you in one direction to St Kilda and St Kilda Beach or in the other direction to Richmond. Trams along Toorak Road will take you to South Bank on the Yarra. Getting to my home
Train, tram and taxi or car are all great ways to get to the apartment. The Hawksburn Train Station is only a 1-2 minute walk form the apartment.
