Large, comfortable home filled with antiques and special spots to relax. Views through grand trees toward the river. Incredible hiking in Forest Park which is our back yard. We also walk to restaurants and cafes in the alphabet district and slab town. Perfect location with all the amenities!
The Space
We have two living rooms both with gas fireplaces and a large, formal dining room with a fresco on the walls that is original to the home built in 1908. The kitchen is equipped with all the cooking equipment you could need.
On the middle level we have 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a room with an infrared sauna.
The attic is a large space with a queen bed and a twin trundle bed plus a large TV and desk area.
Our home is our only residence and is filled with art and antiques that are precious as they were passed down from family. For this reason and that we have a hardwood staircase our home is not suitable for young children. We also do it have pets but we are open to having hypoallergenic, well behaved pets come and stay with you on a prearranged basis.
Guest Access
Three floors plus a basement. The top, attic floor has a queen bed and a trundle that has two twin beds. It also has a large TV and two desk areas.
The second floor has a main bedroom with Cal King bed and attached bathroom with bathtub. There is also a queen bedroom and a twin bedroom on this floor plus a sauna room and bathroom with a shower. There's a washer and dryer on this level.
The main level of our home has two living rooms each with a fireplace, a kitchen with a powder room (half bath) and a beautiful dining room that has a turn of the century fresco.
The basement is storage which we can make available if you want to borrow bicycles or play ping pong. But be advised that it is also full of storage bins!

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is beautiful and the neighbors are very helpful. We have a hundred miles of forested hiking trails one block away from the house and are also a 15 minute walk into town for shops and restaurants.
Getting to my home
PDX airport is a 25 minute drive or 45 minutes on the MAX tram which costs $2.50. From the tram there is a bus to our house that comes in the morning and the afternoon. Or there is a bus terminal at Montgomery Park which is a 12 minute walk. We have street parking in front of the house.
