General Overview

We have created a simple but open and bright space to relax while you explore everything the area has to offer . Or if you simply want to escape and play in the pool while also having a work from home space, we have that too. We love our Florida getaway and hope you do too! This is an older , safe neighborhood with larger lots and sweet families. We love it here ! You are 1.5 hours from EVERYTHING- Tampa, Clearwater, Homosassa Springs, Crystal River, Tarpon Springs, and just a short jaunt further to Orlando and Siesta Key!

The Space

The home itself is bright, spacious and open. We have a covered porch with a heated pool and the house is stocked with everything you might need.

Access is via key pad on the door and the code changes with each guest.

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is older and while not everyone keeps up their yards perfectly, we are surrounded by kind attentive neighbors including a sheriff. The area of our home is within an hour of so much to do- so many natural springs, the gulf coast, Clearwater and St. Pete, Tampa, Crystal River and so much more. The closest attraction is Weeki Wachi river and springs where the manatees visit every year.

We are a family of 5 and originally from the other sunny state, California. We made our way across the country and landed in North Carolina to help with the family business: Christmas tree farming. Well, as it turns out, we’re better suited for more modern professions but we couldn’t leave the beautiful blue ridge mountains that we ended up calling home. Having come from California though, the winters were long and cold . Back on the west coast, we would travel to Hawaii as frequently as we could and left a piece of our heart there. That’s why, when we fell in love with Florida and finally purchased our home, we decided to call it “ Hoaloha (friend in Hawaiian) house” . We chose this area for its extremely central location and Gulf Coast vibe. We hope you love our home too! *Because we are not local to our 2nd home and it is rented frequently, there will be a $150 cleaning fee assessed for each stay*
