General Overview
Our interior-designed home is in the beautiful village of Commugny, just 10 minutes from Geneva Airport with excellent links to public transport close by. Our home is distributed over three levels with 4 spacious double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have a separate TV room / playroom in the basement as well as an office should you need to work from here.
The Space
Our large living room comes with a cozy fireplace. We have a separate dining room / kitchen which is well equipped with a Thermomix, microwave, a Nespresso machine, waffle maker, toaster and all other essential kitchen utensils if you wanted to eat in should you wish.
We have a big garden with lots of seating outdoors and a Weber BBQ for summer evenings you may want to dine in during the summers.
Our wonderful live-in Filipino housekeeper Emma lives with us during the week (Mon-Fri) and is available for any questions and for general cleaning while you are there. If you would prefer your privacy, we can also organize for her to not be here during your stay.

Getting to my home
We are a 12 drive from Geneva Airport, if you are arriving by plane. Most international airlines fly to Geneva. Otherwise, there are even more flight options to Zurich, which is a scenic 2.5hrs on the train.
If you come by train to the main Geneva Train Station (called Cornavin), our local train station (Coppet Gare) is only 2 stops from there. It takes 10 minutes by train.
Nearest airport
Geneve International Airport is quick and easy to get to and from, both via car (12 mins) and public transport (30 mins)
Zurich International Airport is 2.5hrs drive or the same via train.
Both Geneva and Zurich airports are hubs for flights all over the world.
Getting Around
We are very well served by public transport. There is a bus stop a few minutes walk from our house which in a few stops will take you to the closest train station (Coppet). From there, you can get to the centre of Geneva in 15 mins and elsewhere to rest Switzerland and even, France. The train service in Switzerland is excellent and everywhere is easily accessed.

We are a family of 4 from the UK, now living in Switzerland with two daughters aged 14 and 11. We are both diplomats, working for the UN in public health. We love travelling and the outdoors - hiking in the summers, skiing in the winters. We'd love to swap homes with you if dates especially during the school holidays, align!
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
