General Overview

Guest apartment just outside of Coimbra with easy access to many places in Portugal and the beaches. This is also a great location for hiking, paddleboarding and cycling. Lots of nature, but easy drives to many cities in Portugal. We would like to exchange mostly for Germany, Spain, and other locations, including Costa Rica. We also travel to Florida on occasion since we have family there and could do an exchange in Tampa, St. Pete, Sarasota etc. Currently, we're not interested in other US/Canada locations.

The Space

Completely renovated one bedroom/one bath apartment adjacent to our house. Large open concept living, dining, kitchen area and a small but functional bedroom. Very central location in Portugal with view of the mountains, but the beaches are also just an hour away. This is a great location to explore the country or stay local and enjoy both the Atlantic and the river beaches.

Notes

We can set up a separate work desk if needed. Washing machine and drying rack in the apartment. Dryer or outdoor laundry rack can be made available in our house/yard next door unless we’re traveling at the same time.

See above, this area is best visited by car. There are buses as well that connect to Coimbra.

Husband and myself. We are both busy professionals who like to travel, currently mainly throughout Europe as we moved from the US to Portugal. We love exchanging homes and have many exchanges on another platform.
