General overview
Our townhouse which was built in 2019 is in a quiet family oriented complex of 33 homes. Our house backs on to a forest which is especially nice in the summer when it provides shade for the house and back yard. The house is on two levels- 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and living room, kitchen, half bathroom (toilet and sink) and garage on the main level. The garage is my art studio so it isn't available for parking a car but it does have plenty of room for storing things such as bikes and kayaks! Plus, we have a dedicated parking spot right outside.
We do have a cat that lives in the house with us when we're here, so even though the house will be thoroughly cleaned it might not be a good fit for someone with cat allergies.

MICHELLE
We are Michelle and Lawrence Nyberg, a couple in our early fifties. Our kids are Hawthorne 19 and Lily 15. Lawrence is a luthier (Nyberg Instuments) and I am an artist (michellenyberg.com)
Our main home is on beautiful Hornby Island, British Columbia, our second home is in Courtenay BC on Vancouver Island- this is where the kids and I stay during the school week so that they don't have to commute 2 hours each way to school.
We would love to see more of the world but we also love a sense of home when it's time to relax after a big day of exploring. Rest assured that during our stay we will treat your home with great care as if it was our own.
