General overview

Location is everything in LA! If you want to walk to the beach this darling little condo located on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica is the place! Montana Avenue is referred to as "The Rodeo Drive of The West Side". Visit MontanaAve.com for an overview. This area is as prime as it gets and the condo sits in the most desirable area of Santa Monica. Four block walk to the park and the pedestrian walk over to the beach. You will be less than five blocks from a variety of restaurants, groceries, bank, shopping and Starbucks. A little bit further walk is the Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade. Whatever you need is within walking distance. 30 minute or less drive to The Getty Museum, hiking in the hills, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Malibu and about an hour to Disney Land!

The space

The space is small (980 sq ft)but updated nicely. This is a very quiet building of professionals so we do ask our guests to be respectful of that. This is a one bedroom condo with an updated kitchen and bathroom. There is a small balcony with not much of a view but nice for a little fresh air. There is an air mattress so you could squeeze in a child or two but it's not terribly family friendly. The sofa isn't suitable for sleeping, it's quite thin. If you're in Santa Monica/Los Angeles you won't be spending much time inside:)

Guest access

The condo is on the first floor, there are stairs as well as an elevator. There is an underground parking ramp with a security gate. You will have one parking space. There is also a front door entry code for additional security.

Notes

This building does not allow short term rental so we do ask you be discreet as to the exchange. You are simply our friends using the condo which is true! There is a pool however guests are not allowed to use it unless a home owner is present. I'm sorry about that.

Hello! We are world travelers, always curious, love the beaches and the mountains. My daughter is an Olympic alpine ski racer so we will be looking for opportunities in the mountains. I have a cottage on a beautiful little lake just outside Duluth Minnesota USA as well as a tiny but sweet condo near the beach in Santa Monica California. Typically it will be just my daughter and myself traveling. We don't mind cat sitting:).
