What a beautiful spacious, light, stylish home in a stunning location with views of the hills. Aurelie and Nick have created an amazing home well situated for Golden Bay, Abel Tasman and the Nelson area. Every comfort is offered with quality beds and linen with a veey well equipped kitchen. A lovely hot tub is a great bonus. The gardens and grounds surround the house making it peaceful and quiet yet it's not far off the main road for easy access. Aurelie was extremely flexible when our plans changed at the last minute and calmly moved our dates. Hence we stayed in both their unit, (also extremely comfortable), and the main house. Aurelie made it seem to be no extra effort although it presumedly was! We loved the area so much as there are numerous choices for hikes, swimming, good coffee, ( try Java hut in Mapua), art galleries, boat trips into the Abel Tasman, Pics peanut butter factory tour in Nelson, local walks and reserves. A huge thank you from us and our daughter and husband; so very kind of you to welcome them too for the long weekend. Lovely to meet your special family Aurelie and we enjoyed our chats with you. Thank you, thank you for a most enjoyable exchange and let's do so again one day!

Our stay in Aurélie and Nick's beautiful home was everything we could wish for. They were great communicators, so we felt really comfortable arriving. The house is beautifully restored, stylish and incredibly practical - even with two young kids. The views are spectacular, we loved feeding the sheep and goats and cuddles with the cats. Would highly recommend anyone stay there if given the opportunity, we certainly would love to stay again!

We loved our stay at Aurelie’s place. It was so peaceful and it felt like home straight away. We looked forward to feeding the goats and sheep everyday and got some lovely cuddles from the cats. There was lots of seating areas outside and we spent many hours out there despite a few rainy days. We enjoyed exploring the area and did some lovely hikes, visited glow worm caves and ate ice cream. The communication with Aurelie was very easy and I would thoroughly recommend exchanging with her.

We spent two weeks in Aurelie and Nick's cottage beside their main house while they were home. It was nice to have our own little area but also to have them available if we had any questions. Nick and Aurelie went out of their to make us feel welcome and enjoy our time on the south island. We had everything we needed and enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds and even the sheep and goats. Their home is in a great area as we explored Richmond, Nelson, Motueka, Mapua and Abel Tasman National Park. Their place is far enough away from the city to be quiet and relaxing but close enough that you can drive into town easily. We have fallen in love with New Zealand and if given the chance would love to come back to their place. We look forward to welcoming them to our home in Phuket in 2026 and returning the hospitality.

Aurelie, Nick, and their boys were incredibly kind and generous hosts. They went out of their way to help us when we had a car issue, and we’re so grateful. They also let our guests use their sleepout, which made things really convenient. Their home is modern, updated, and super comfortable—cozy in all the right ways. We also really enjoyed sharing a dinner with them; they’re such warm and easygoing people. And of course, the cats, goats, and sheep were a fun bonus! A great stay with a great family.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la magnifique maison d Aurélie et Nick. La maison est très bien située sur un très beau terrain arboré et avec une belle vue sur la vallée. Ils nous ont très bien accueillis, nous ont.conseilles sur de très belles sorties et randonnées à faire. Ils nous ont invités à une soirée barbecue. Aurélie et sa famille seront toujours les bienvenus chez nous dans le sud de la France.
