General overview

Originally built in 1880, we’ve spent 3 years completely remodeling and renovating this house into a wonderful 5-bedroom peace heaven. With about 2600sqft of living space, each main areas were optimized for a young family. If like us you like architecture, you’ll enjoy the small touches here and there. The house can easily accommodate 8 people thanks to its modular layout. The basement includes a proper home theatre (not pictured) connected with a Dolby Atmos sound system (and a PlayStation for those with older kids). It also includes a studio filled with vintage guitars and amps (not pictured as well). Both of these rooms can converted into proper bedrooms as we have proper mattresses and bed frames in storage if needs be. The basement has its own entrance through the front and full bathroom. Ground floor is open space and is filled with lights thanks to its large windows. We just love this space and spend most of our time there. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, an open area as well as a bathroom. Again, we have everything needed in storage to accommodate a larger family, if needs be. The house also has a large backyard equiped with a Kamado BBQ, a firepit and room to receive friends and enjoy a good meal. The best part about our house is its central location. Located in the Sud-Ouest we are walking everywhere and we’re connected to 100km+ of bike pathways. As such, we really take our car. The Lachine canal, Charlevoix Métro, Old Montréal, Verdun beach/restaurants, Notre-Dame/St-Henri restaurants, Marché Atwater, Parc Jean-Drapeau and downtown are minutes away. We’d be happy to share our SUV, our bikes and any baby gear needed for younger families. Come discover Montreal, we’d be happy you’d choose our home to discover our vibrant city.

David

We are a family of 4 based in Montreal. Sarah-Ann is an occupational therapist who owns her clinic specialized in children development. David is an engineer turned venture capitalist/entrepreneur. Adrien is 3 and loves running around and goofing with his 2 YO sister Samuelle. We love being outdoor, hiking, spending time with our kids discovering new cities and enjoying life. We appreciate design, architecture, and good food. We are very easy going, relaxed and adaptable. We’re looking forward to having you come over and visit our beautiful city, Montreal.
