Neighbourhood
The city centre, fjellstua, bus, grocery store are all within walking distance.
Aalesund is a beautiful city with fjords and mountains all around. The beautiful Jugend architecture also draws a lot of tourists and makes the town very unique.
There is a lot to do here. Hike one of the numerous mountains we have around us. You can take small hikes or hikes that take several days You can try kayak or SUP. You can hire boat trips or take fjord cruise to see geiranger. You can walk the 400 steps up to the famous fjellstua, have a coffee or dinner and look at the spectacular view. I will of course help you with any questions you might have. You can take a look at the guidebook I made for guests when I rent out the place

Getting to my home
By plane is the fastest way (stopover in Oslo). But the car ride is breathtaking even though it takes a while (7-8 hours from Oslo)

Bus is ok, but if you want to see everything that is to see around Aalesund, I would recommend hiring a car.

My name is Trudy, and i live with my partner Roar in beautiful Ålesund in Norway. He will travel with me, and I will occasionally also travel with children and grandchildren.
I own my own salon where i am a professional skin care therapist, aroma therapist, massage therapist, podiatrist etc. I am also a teacher, and I teach those very subjects.
I am so exited to be able to give others the opportunity to experience my magical city in the middle of ocean and mountains, and at the same time be able to experience other parts of the world. Finally we can see a light in the other end of the covid-tunnel and I can feel the travel-hunger almost eating me up :)
I am very flexible in my work, so i am open for weekends as well as longer stays during school holidays and summer.
