We live in a traditional "Charleston Single" home in the neighboring town of Mount Pleasant, SC. We are close to the beaches of Isle of Palms and Sullivans Island, as well as the Wando River where we often go boating. We are in a master planned community with a pool, tennis courts, rec fields, playgrounds, and golf cart friendly. We are also very close to a number of golf courses! The absolute best part of living here though is being able to hop over to downtown Charleston and experience the beauty, history, and BEST FOOD EVER.
Charleston has been voted the #1 travel destination in the U.S. for years and we’d love to share it with people from all over the world.
Note, it is approx 25 min to downtown and the beaches. Pretty standard drive around here bc of all the waterways!

Notes
Things to Do in Charleston:
- Go to the beach (3 to choose from). We have good beaches for littles with tide pools as well as beaches for surfing and kite surfing! Grab a Frose on the way!
- Take a Horse Carriage tour of historical downtown Charleston. The city is BEAUTIFUL, colorful, and full of history!
- SOUTHERN FOOD! Shrimp and grits, oysters, fried chicken, biscuits, bread pudding, etc. We also have some of the best restaurants (non-southern food) in the U.S. We have tons of recommendations if needed.
- Take a boat trip to Ft Sumter where the civil war began. See the harbour and learn something too!
