Neighbourhood

We live in a safe, quiet, walkable neighborhood with a lovely tree-lined promenade ideal for strolling, running, and biking. This neighborhood is almost entirely Mexican, with few tourists. Our peaceful and walkable neighborhood is convenient to restaurants, cafes, small grocers, a weekly street market (with wonderful fresh produce, cheeses, fish, and prepared foods), a historic zone, and a light-rail station into central Guadalajara.

Nearest airport

Guadalajara airport (GDL) is south of the city and is a roughly a 45-55 minute trip by Uber or taxi depending on traffic and time of day.

Getting Around

It is easy to walk or bike to nearby restaurants, cafes, and mom & pop grocers. We also have one bike with lock available for exploring. We also have buses and light rail reachable in 1-10 minutes on foot, which will take you anywhere in Zapopan/Guadalajara that you would like to go. Additionally, it is easy and safe to get around with Uber.
