Great Falls is a great central location for the state of Montana! The State Capital is 1 hour away, the closest mountains are 30 minutes away for great hiking and sight seeing. There are many mountain ranges all around us. With mountain lakes, and hiking trails. There are lots of wildlife viewing opportunities around with plenty of deer living around and even in the neighborhood.
Our favorite ski hill is one hour away- https://www.showdownmontana.com/
Yellowstone National Park is easy to get to to the south, and Glacier National Park is easy to drive to the north. We make a great jumping off point to either.
