We live in an area with an abundance of wildlife, a relaxed vibe and an amazing proximity to one of Colorado’s top rated golf courses (Arrowhead). We are less than a two hour drive to most of the gorgeous ski areas that our state is well known for.
Our home is an updated, well kept ranch with an exceptional finished basement. There are lots of accessible hiking trails outside our door and biking trails and more hiking adventures within a 10 minute drive. Also, Chatfield Reservoir where there’s a swimming beach, boat rental and fishing and Roxborough State Park with amazing red rock formations fare again, very close by. Amazing Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs is an hour away and Downtown Denver, which offers a wonderful array of restaurants, museums, cultural events and a zoo is approximately a half hour away.
The space
Our ranch style home is fairly open with a large kitchen/ family room looking out at Dakota Ridge and herds of deer. Oftentimes there’s the possibility of a bear sighting in the summer! There is a study/den with a large desk that has the ability to hear the front water feature. There is a separate dining and living room as well. The two upstairs bedrooms are large and the second bedroom has a full bath right beside it. The master suite has an adjustable king size bed and in the adjoining bathroom is a double vanity, updated shower and a jetted tub. The finished basement includes a spectacular guest suite with another double vanity and large shower. There’s also a cozy 3 sided fireplace which enhances the tv area as wellas the large snooker/pool table and game table. The large outside back patio is very private with a firepit, lounge chairs and a dining table, chairs and gas grill . A wonderful space to enjoy an afternoon cocktail while viewing the deer and wild turkeys, the eagles and hawks and the bunny rabbits as well.
Guest access
There is a main floor and a downstairs by way of stairs. The main floor has everything for day to day living.
Notes
We are located only 20 minutes from historic downtown Littleton, a picturesque street of restaurants and fun boutiques. And we’re only 25 minutes from the famous old “cowboy-type” town of Golden, the original Colorado capital and named for the gold rush.
Our home is not available for young children (under 16). A car is necessary and not provided. No smoking inside or out
No pets as well.

Hi there! We’re Peter and Debbie and are a happily married and retired couple who loves to travel, immerse ourselves into other cultures and enjoy the world. Exchanging homes is an idea we’ve talked about for a while and are finally brave enough to give it a try. We feel so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place where we can go out for a hike and birdwatch or be within feet of our local deer….or…go to a Pro sport event- whether basketball, football or baseball. Or…a delightful gourmet dinner and a playin from Broadway! There are myriads of things to do and see and we’re in the middle of them but in a bit of a quiet, remote area that has a ambiance and specialness of its.
