General overview
My home is a 4-5 bd/3 ba two story, completely renovated and featured in Chapel Hill Magazine Sept 2021. It is cozy yet spacious, comfortable with extra spaces for working, teenagers, privacy etc.
It’s close to town and shopping yet quiet with privacy from neighbors. I am walking distance to trails, coffee etc. and an easy drive to coastal areas or mountains for easy weekend trips.
The space
Home features open living and dining room, open stair to lower level, fully equipped kitchen, a 1 car garage, and 2 laundry areas. Space is modern, quiet and comfortable, complete with interior swing and one furry friend kitty.
Upper level has 3 bedrooms (queen, full, full) and 2 baths. Lower level has office, and a queen bedroom 'apartment' style space with seating, table, kitchenette, TV, 2nd laundry etc. There is a 2nd sleeping space with full murphy bed. Can be open or used as 'lock off' - great for teens or privacy if needed.
Private setting, front balcony, new renovated large rear stone patio, ample outdoor seating, outdoor dining table, fire pit, mature trees, hammock swing, and grass.
Guest access
There is a steep driveway and a lower driveway with walkable path. There is also lower level entry as well as upper level entry. Guest has access to entire property. Lots of parking. Home sits off the main road for added privacy.
Notes
There is an open staircase with railing so not as suitable for children under 5 to go up or down stairs alone.
Part of the home has a lock off 1 or 2 bedroom space (private apartment with separate entry and kitchenette/living room), which is well suited for traveling with multiple families or extended family members, teens etc.

I love to explore new places. My older teens and I have been guests and hosts for short term stays on Airbnb for 10 years completed several exchanges on Home Exchange/Mind My House, worked and lived overseas, and have traveled extensively, so we are used to caring for other peoples' homes as we would our own.
I am an independent Change Management Consultant and have traveled many areas of the world with many more to go.
I am open to exchanges anywhere and soon an empty nester which lots of flexibility. Always looking for short or long summer stays when my kids can travel with me or other stays with a family member. Open to any longer term stays as well.
My Lock-Off 2 bedroom suite has even more availability! This is in the 1st floor with separate entry and parking area. Offers a queen and full sleeping space plus a sofa that converts to a twin. Willing to consider any type of exchange.
"Looking to spend 4-8 weeks anytime. Used to live in the 9th arrond."
