Nestled in the foothills of the Bunya mountains, it’s a perfect spot to unwind and kick back. Only an hour from Toowoomba, but ten minutes from town it’s a getaway homestead where you can truly relax.

The Space

Three generous bedrooms and a bathroom in the main house and a separate bedroom with ensuite detached. It has a very spacious, modern kitchen for you to utilise. Talgai also has a large yard with a lawn and garden to explore.

Neighbourhood

There is so much to see in the area. The Bunya Mountain national park is just a short drive away. There’s great dams for fishing nearby and swimming holes for the kids. But the real treat is to sit back with a refreshing drink, relax with your partner or family and take in the stunning Talgai scenery.

Getting to my home

6 kilometres north of the town of Maclagan you turn left onto the North Maclagan Road and follow it 4 kilometres and this gorgeous property can be found right at the end of the gravel road.

Brisbane West Airport 1 hour away!

Getting Around

There is the local general store only 10 kilometres away in Maclagan that will stock all the essentials. And a pub at Quinalow only another 2 kilometres further.

My partner, Mia and I have enjoyed travelling internationally together since we met in 2022. We love outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, snowboarding and kayaking. We’ve had a beautiful baby boy in early 2025, continuing to travel interstate as well as hoping to do some family New Zealand trips in the near future.
