Neighbourhood

Drugstore, supermarket and bicycle repair shop (essential in the Netherlands) are within walking distance (2 min walk). It is a 20-minute walk to the large shopping center, where you will find many shops. From a huge Asian supermarket to H&M, electronics to the ecological market.

Nearest airport

Schiphol airport is the nearest airport. It is 45 minutes by public transport or 20 minutes by cab.

Getting Around

In Amsterdam we don't do much by car. We have bicycles available and you can also take the bus, a 1-minute walk away. This takes you to the metro that takes you to the center (22 minutes from our front door to central station). We do have a small car we could lend you.
