General Overview

Two blocks from a train line to downtown and 4km from the gorgeous lakeshore. Located in a beautiful neighborhood with historic homes and a quaint commercial district full of lively restaurants, cute shops, and live music. Chicago in the summer is truly a delight with warm freshwater beaches, outdoor concerts, boating, stunning gardens, biking, and a host of cultural activities. Can also be a home base for regional options like Route 66, Michigan beach towns, Milwaukee, St. Louis (all easily reachable by car or train).

The Space

This the top floor of a historic two-flat. It has 3bd and 1 bath and two cozy sun rooms. On a quiet, tree-line street on a friendly block. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and a crib. One bedroom has a children's bunkbed. The last bedroom is a playroom that is flexible (we have an air mattress if wanted). There is a kitchen, pantry, and one dining room.

Neighbourhood

The neighborhood is friendly and welcoming. It is fairly family oriented with cute residential streets and bustling commercial corridors. People are very nice and in good weather the streets have many people walking dogs and taking babies in strollers out. The space is one block from a park with a playground.

Getting to my home

You can get to our home on the CTA Brown Line or is about a 30 minute Uber from O'hare International Airport.

Getting Around

Grocery store is a 5 minute walk away, train is a 3 minute walk, and commercial streets with lots of shops and restaurants are about a 10 minute walk. Downtown Chicago is about 30 minutes train ride.
