General overview

Six bedrooms, Elegant, Luxurious, Spacious with an abundance of international art from our travels around the world. It runs as a luxury 5-stat guest house from April to October so exchanges are possible for stays in season on a bed and breakfast basis or for exclusive use when closed from November to March as a fully self catering luxury house while we travel in winter. www.highcliffehouse.co.uk

Guest access

Guests staying on a luxury self-catering basis will also have access to the conservatory off the kitchen and a large 50inch smart TV integrated with entire Sonas sound system on the ground floor. The Outdoor Terrace at Highcliffe is a lovely space for evening drinks even in winter once wrapped up well for the colder conditions. Our kitchen is very well equipped with two ovens and all you need to rustle up a feast for your family or friends. Large, fully equipped kitchen with two Belling cookers, American style Large fridge freezers in the kitchen and cold rooms, three dishwashers, coffee machine, coffee grinder, double toasters. Dining Room tables for individual or group dining with seating for up to 12 people. Plentiful crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and utensils. Utility room with three washing machines, tumble dryer, drying rack for washing. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house, integrated Somas Sound systems throughout the ground floor and Amazon Alexa devices throughout. Smart TV enabled Netflix and Amazon Prime in all bedrooms and on a large 50-inch TV in the conservatory. Sunny terrace with seating and sea views.

For several months in the year we offer the entire house as a luxury self-catering holiday rental home and destination managed by a dedicated property manager. Highcliffe House sits a short walk up Sinai Hill from Lynton with spectacular sea views. Highcliffe House has six luxury ensuite bedrooms with smart TV’s and Amazon Alexa devices comfortably sleeping 12. Plentiful stylish communal spaces are available for relaxing such as the sitting room and drawing rooms or outside on the garden terrace. On our doorstep, explore the Magical and Dramatic beauty of the Valley of Rocks or walk along the enchanting river to Watersmeet, one of Julia Bradbury's best walks. Hop on the famous Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway gliding majestically between both towns. Minehead in the East to Combe Martin in the West, the Exmoor National Park straddles the North Coast of Devon and Somerset. Exmoor boasts everything from a wild and rugged coastline, to vast open moors hiding lush secluded valleys and woods. It’s easy to see why so many walkers, nature lovers and those who just love the great outdoors at any time of the year find their heaven right here. Getting to my home

Lynton & Lynmouth is located on the North Devon coast, on the A39, between the towns of Minehead and Barnstaple. From the M5 via J23 & A39 – Journey time: 1 hour 20 mins From Bridgwater, take the A39 and follow the coastal route to Lynmouth. From the M5 via J27 & A361 North Devon Link Road – Journey time: 1 hour 5 mins From Tiverton, follow the A361 to the junction with the A399 at South Molton. Take the A399 to Blackmoor Gate and turn right onto the A39. Continue to Barbrook and take the left-hand turn opposite the petrol station. Bus and Train Services also operate
