General Overview

Our house is spacious, bright and colorful. We feel really good there. We have 3 bedrooms with double bed and a children's room with single bed. There is also an extra double bed in our games room and a very large sofa that can accommodate two adults from time to time. We also have an office/library area where you can work. Our house is well insulated and very quiet, although it is right in the city. It was completely renovated in 2018. In the garden, in summer there is a large trampoline, two swings, a play hut. We can also provide a children's pool. We have a cat but he lives outside and is very independent. We don't have a television, but a video projector with a large screen.

Neighbourhood

The house is located in a lively area with all shops (small supermarket, grocery store, pharmacy, bakery, press/tobacconist, butcher, cheese shop, hairdressers, etc...) only a few meters away. There is also public transport right next door to get around the entire Nantes area. In Rezé, you can visit Trentemoult, a charming and very colourful fishing village on the banks of the Loire, or Le Corbusier's radiant city. From our house you can go to Nantes by tram or bike (15 minutes from the city center by bike) and enjoy countless bars, restaurants, museums, concert hall... Nantes is also known for its municipal parks and gardens, our favourite being the Jardin des Plantes in the city centre, as well as for its architecture. Not to mention of course the "Machines de l'île", a great discovery for children and adults. If you take the car (or the train depending on the destination), you can also spend a day on the coast of Loire-Atlantique or Vendée, or visit the Gulf of Morbihan, the island of Noirmoutier, cities such as Clisson, Guérande, La Baule, Vannes... We will be happy to prepare a list of lots of nice addresses in the area.

Getting to my home

Nantes airport can be reached by bus 10 minutes walk + 20 minutes by bus. Nantes train station is about 30 minutes away by public transport or 10 minutes by train (Rezé station 10 minutes walk)
