We had such a wonderful home exchange experience at Willy and Nicolaas home in Aix-en-Provence and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The apartment is perfectly located, right in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, making everything easily accessible on foot. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the surrounding villages and the wider region. The space itself is very spacious, beautifully decorated with a clear sense of style and personality. You can really feel that this is a home of people who appreciate art. The house was fully equipped with absolutely everything we needed, which made our stay comfortable from the very first moment. Willy was incredibly kind, responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. She was always available on WhatsApp to answer any questions we had and made everything feel smooth. Everything went perfectly and we are truly grateful for such a warm and seamless experience. We are really looking forward to welcoming them to our home in Crete and returning the same level of hospitality. Highly recommended in every way.

We had a wonderful stay in Willy and Rino's home in Aix. It is centrally located right in the historic centre and the local markets, cafes and restaurants, and shops were just steps away. But also very conveniently located to parking and public transport options. The apartment had everything we needed and we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Willy is always a pleasure to communicate with, and very hospitable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

If you ever have a chance to stay in Willy’s Aix home- you absolutely must! We stayed for one month and completely feel in love with the airy, spacious and light filled, colourful apartment, that is in the middle of the historic centre. Willy has ensured that the apartment has everything you could possibly need and she is a great communicator, who will quickly reply if required. I arranged this exchange almost a year in advance and have had the privilege of getting to know Willy over this time, a wonderful bonus to this home exchange. A 10 min walk is the most it takes to visit museums, historical sites, bars, restaurants, markets, art galleries and artisan shops. We had many lovely meals a few minutes from home and enjoyed a regular pastis in the square in the afternoon, while watching French life go by. If you do want to go further afield, the public transport options are easily accessible. In all regards, an excellent exchange!

We had the best time, loved the feel of this city. Big enough to explore, but small enough for you to really get the feel of the culture and people. We did a Morning market tour, with a local. Exploring all the yummy local foods. Then also took a historical city tour. It was so interesting, especially the architecture. Willy's home is perfectly located, right in town. Walk anywhere in 1-10 minutes. Next door is a Pub, for those of you who love a beer. 😉 Being August, it was very hot in the middle of the day. So we ventured out in the morning and returned to a beautiful apartment. So comfortable, air conditioned and beautifully presented. Quiet. Highly recommended!

We had a splendid time at Willemnias apartment in Ax-en.Her apartment is located in the historic district which is very walkable.This apt is perfect for a couple or a family.There is a large loft with a fully stocked kitchen.The second floor has steps and a ladder leading to two other beds.The apt was clean and we enjoyed many evenings eating around the table .Willemina provided me with many tips and recommendations of things to do in this area.We were fortunate to be there during lavendar season quite a sight to see !!

Willemina’s apartment, right in the centre of old-town Aix en Provence, is as bright and cheery as she is. A wonderfully colourful home, filled with comfy furnishings, interesting art and modern conveniences. Her spacious apartment also comes with a great loft and second living room. Lots of restaurants and shops right downstairs as everything you need is very nearby. Highly recommend spending time at Willy’s and enjoying Aix!!

Willy is a great communicator, relaxed and friendly. We stayed with Willy for a few nights before she left for her own travels. It was great getting to know Willy and her son in person. Both are really lovely. Willy’s apartment is up a series of stairs in the old part of town which made siteseeing really easy. Great location with everything on your doorstep and the buses to other areas just an 8 minute walk away. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Willy!
