I live in a great city that has all the amenities you will ever need! We are so close to the big major cities such as Toronto and the US as well as great hiking and cycling trails if you want to keep it local. And never miss out on our farmer's markets and small towns and villages.
Close to Highway 401 for day trips to Toronto (1 hour), Niagara Falls (1.5 hours), Stratford Theatre (1 hour), and three of the Great Lakes (Erie, Ontario, Huron - each about 1 hour).
And if you are interested in hiking, do not miss out on the 900 kms Bruce Trail with 450 kms of side trails. Do it all or tackle it in sections.
I'm pretty flexible and interested in both simultaneous and non simultaneous exchanges.

Neighbourhood
Very quiet neighbourhood, across the road from a golf course. Kitchener is well known for their European descendants with lots of restaurants and local microbreweries. Many trails can be found for walking, hiking, running or biking.
Getting to my home
The best way to get to Kitchener is by car from the Toronto Airport (YYZ). There are also many shuttles available. You could also take the train from Union Station in Toronto.
Or if you are driving - Kitchener is just off of highway 401
Nearest airport
Toronto International Airport (YYZ) - about 100 kms
Getting around
Best to use a car to go shopping and get groceries, however, there is the Ion - a light rail train that runs through the city. I am a 5 mins walk from an Ion station. On Saturday mornings, there is a large farmer's market that is only 5 mins away and sells lots of local produce. A definite must see!
