Neighbourhood
We live on a pretty quiet lane with fields around and foot paths. The town centre is walking distance but also has a free carpark in the centre and buses from the end of the lane. Attleborough has a Sainsbury's and a Lidl, petrol stations and a range of independent cafes and shops as well as a large church. We are close to Norwich, Bury st Edmunds and Thetford which all offer a much larger range of shops, theatres and museums. Thetford Forest also has High Lodge and Go Ape and is a lovely place to ride bikes or go for walks. We like to get out for river or sea swims in the summer and I can recommend a lot of good spots for the coast and river entry points if that's your interest too. We are about an hour from the coast east or north, and an hour from Cambridge to the west.
