General Overview

We have been living in this pretty little house since August 2023, completely redesigned by an architect. We are gradually finishing the renovation. It is a pleasant, functional, very bright house with a large garden a little wild, which includes an orchard, a vegetable garden and a flock of birds come every day to peck at the feeders available.

Day 1: the castle of the Dukes of Brittany, the city center Day 2: the Art Museum, the Jardin des Plantes, the Lieu Unique 
Day 3: Les Machines de l'Ile, the Green Line of Travel in Nantes 
Day 4: Trentemoult and its colourful houses, crossing the Loire by Navibus, Belvederes route in the Chantenay district 
Day 5: Clisson, the Garenne Lemot, the Hellfest site Day 6: Pornic, the beach of the Etang, the customs path, the tip of St Gildas 
Day 7: Guérande, Mr Hulot's Beach  
and so many other wonders to discover!

The Space

An easy to live in, and perfect for recharging your batteries while discovering the region.  

It includes:   
- The large living room which opens onto the garden: a family kitchen with all the necessary equipment, a living room facing the pellet stove, and a large bay window allows you to contemplate the garden. A mezzanine (future office) overlooks the room.  
- 3 bedrooms, one of which is on 2 levels. They are all equipped with double beds (160 in the master bedroom).   
- 2 bathrooms  

Parking is easy: either in the yard at the front of the house or on the street.   

Kosmo, our adorable cat, will welcome you: kibble, cuddles, and everything will be fine!

Guest Access

We welcome families with children, but our house has 2 unsecured stairs that can be dangerous for little ones. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to talk to me about it.

Neighbourhood

Rezé is a lively and rapidly changing town. The Port au Blé district is quiet and residential. The tram is a 10-minute walk away to reach the heart of Nantes in 15 to 20 minutes. To discover in Rezé: Le Corbusier's Maison Radieuse, and the Chronograph, an archaeological site. But also the banks of the Loire with the adorable fishing districts Haute Ile and Trentemoult, and the very wild banks of the Sèvre. A market that we love very much, with everything you need (organic vegetables, cheeses and pancakes!) every Friday morning.

Getting to my home

Parking is easy: either in the yard at the front of the house or on the street. 
The tram is a 10-minute walk away and we have a train station with regional trains a 12-minute walk away.

Nearest airport

Nantes airport is a 10-minute drive away (Uber: about €15), a bus line takes you there directly in 25 minutes for €2.

Getting Around

The tram is a 10-minute walk away and takes you to Nantes City Centre in 15 minutes. 

You can also explore the region with or without a car! For example, the beaches are 45-60 minutes away by car, but you can get there by regional train in about 1 hour: the Rezé train station is a 12-minute walk away!
