General Overview

We have been living in this pretty little house from the 20s, completely redesigned by an architect, since August 2023. We love the beautiful light that bathes the main room, the vast garden and listen to the sound of the wind in the trees. Kosmo, our adorable cat, will welcome you: kibble, cuddles, and everything will be fine!

The Space

Our house includes: - The large living room which opens onto the garden: a family kitchen, a living room facing the pellet stove. A mezzanine (future office) overlooks the room but it is not finished. - 3 bedrooms, one of which is on 2 levels. They are all equipped with double beds (160 in the master bedroom). - 2 bathrooms.

Notes

Parking is easy: either in the yard at the front of the house or on the street.

Neighbourhood

Rezé is a lively and rapidly transforming municipality. The Port au Blé district is quiet and residential but close to everything. The tram is a 7-minute walk to reach the heart of Nantes in 15 to 20 minutes. Shops within a 5-10 minute walk. To discover in Rezé: Le Corbusier's Maison Radieuse, and the Chronograph, an archaeological site. But also the banks of the Loire with the adorable fishing districts of Haute Ile and Trentemoult. Nearest airport

Nantes airport is a 10-minute drive away (Uber: about €15), a bus line takes you there directly in 25 minutes for €2.

Getting Around

The tram station is a 7-minute walk away and takes you in 15 to 20 minutes to the centre of Nantes. A regional train station is a 10-minute walk away to reach the seaside in about 1 hour.

We love to discover and learn through our travels. We have already carried out more than 40 exchanges with another site. An adorable cat joined the family in October 2020. Soon we would like to discover Morocco, the USA (East and West), Greece, Asia,... but also to return to Iceland, Turkey, England, Italy...
