General Overview

Our house is located next to the Etang de Thau Archipelago, a few kilometers from the sea and the unmissable city of SETE and Montpellier.
Our house is located in a quiet area, in a subdivision with private shared parking, a swimming pool open from May to August, a pétanque and tennis court, as well as an area for young children.
this holiday home is not large but it has the advantage of having bedrooms for two adults, a beautiful kitchen area opening onto a beautiful shaded terrace with barbecue; and little overlooked.
The climate is Mediterranean, hot in summer and very sunny throughout the year.
The town of MARSEILLAN is a very lively place, its old port from the Middle Ages overlooks a vast pond called the Thau hetang.

Alexandra's holiday house is in a great spot. We cycled to the beach and the charming litte town Marseillan is just a 10 minute walk along the quay. The fast train from Montpellier and a bus in front of the estate makes it ideal if you travel without a car (the bus is incredibly cheap, but has to be booked online or by phone). Marseillan has lots of Restaurants and shops and in addition to the very long beach the lagoon type landscape was beautiful in February, including pink flamingos. The house was very comfortable and quiet. Everything is there, even an oyster knife, which we used extensively. We also recommend to spend a day in Montpellier, a fantastic city, our bew favourite in France.

We had a lovely stay at Alexandra’s. It was my daughter and I and we were very comfortable with the bed and made good use of the kitchen. We enjoyed the location of her house - an easy stroll along the water to arrive to a small port and town center it was also an easy area to drive and explore surrounding towns. We owe her a big thanks truly- She was able to help us out in a pinch at the end of a long trip and the communication was kind and helpful. Hope to host her family in Costa Rica sometime!

It was a wonderful opportunity to discover a corner of the South of France that I did not know about. The home is ideally located across from the étang de Thau and a short walk to the port with delicious restaurants, wine tastings from the Pays d'Oc and many activities. I enjoyed going sailing and meeting locals, and also took advantage of the onsite pool on a hot day. It had everything I needed and I had a very restful holiday in Occitanie. Thank you!
