Neighbourhood
From Wikipedia: Golden Hill is one of San Diego's most historic and architecturally eclectic zones, with many pre-1900 homes and apartments...
This neighborhood is also in walking distance of Downtown, City College and much of Balboa Park. Auto access is direct from freeways 5 and 94, The major through streets and bus routes are Broadway (East and West), and 25th Street and 30th Street (North and South). Pedestrianism, like in other urban mesa neighborhoods surrounding Balboa Park, is high relative to the rest of San Diego.
Getting around
We are 2 miles from the Convention Center, 2 miles from the Gaslamp District, a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach, a 5 minute drive to the Zoo and Balboa Park. There are dockless bikes and scooters all over the place around us to make getting around even easier. I walk to downtown regularly from this location.

We’re a local San Diego family, a local designer & developer and realtor who along with some friends had a crazy dream of building some prefabricated homes on the beach to visit with our family from time to time. These three beach houses are our slice of heaven and proudest achievement. The portuguese cobblestone, an homage to the Copacabana boardwalk is a nod to my Brazilian heritage. We love sharing our homes with the world and our kids love sleeping in the lofts and hanging out on the beach for days on end. We’re often staying in one of the homes with our families, our parents, our kids or some friends and would love to meet like-minded vacationers with a love for the beach, fresh air and good times!
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
