General overview
Our home is in a quiet residential neighborhood bordering Mission Trails Regional Park with miles of hiking trails. We live 20 - 30 minutes drive from beaches, the harbor, downtown, Balboa Park with the San Diego Zoo, and Sea World. Legoland is a 40 minute drive and Disneyland, Hollywood and Universal Studios are 1.5 to 2.5 hours away.
The house is light-filled year round with an open floor plan and beautiful backyard overlooking the canyon.
We have solar panels, heat pump and EV charging station for the eco-conscious traveler.
Great for families - quiet neighborhood close to parks and nature.
The space
Our house has cathedral ceilings and lots of windows, allowing it to be filled with sunlight. On the first floor, the living and dining area, and the den and kitchen area share open floor plans. There is a half bath and laundry.
The new kitchen opens to the backyard for outdoor dining. We enjoy eating meals at the patio table. We spend most summer evenings out there, overlooking the peaceful canyon, watching the many birds and other wildlife as the sun sets.
There are three bedrooms on the second floor - one King master in the back overlooking the canyon with a master bath, and two Queens in the front that share a full bath. We use one of the front bedrooms as our yoga/exercise room as the bed folds up against the wall.
Guest access
Two floors, and several steps up at the entry of the house.
Notes
If you are traveling with a young child, we have a stroller, high chair and portable crib, as well as some toys and books.

Lynn and Pete
We have been lucky enough to live in sunny San Diego, California for the past 10 years. Before that, we lived in Massachusetts, the Netherlands and Australia.
We have always loved to travel and now that we are retired, we hope to spend more time visiting places we have never been and re-visiting places we love. And then we get to return to our comfortable home in "America's finest city!"
Our calendar is usually available so let us know when you want to come.
