General overview

Our house is built in 1930s and has characteristic details (such as glass design) that we love. Also, there is all the modern comfort you need. Our two cats move around and go out by themselves. They don't bother. In summer our garden is nice and green. It is situated in a lovely quiet and safe neighbourhood where kids play on the streets and neighbours help each other. Haarlem is known for its many historic buildings and beautiful old squares. Our city lies near the beach on the banks of Spaarne river. Explore Haarlem by strolling down the narrow streets lined by monumental buildings. Visit extraordinarymuseeums such as Frans Hals and Teyler's. Relax somewhere in one of the many cafes or restaurants hidden in the city. Our house is close by natural sites such as the beautiful monumental dunes landscape of Kennemer Duinen along the coast of the North Sea. Perfect to have a long walk or to cycle through! From our location you can visit other Dutch cities within one hour such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Leiden, Utrecht.

The space

The living is recently renovated with a nice kitchen open to the living room. Here you find everything you need, such as many spices Esther uses while cooking! On the first floor you'll find two girls rooms, one smaller leisure room (now stuffed with playmobil) and the bathroom with a second toilet. The attic consists of the parental sleeping room.

Guest access

The house had two woorden stairs, old style. And the house can be entered also from the back garden.

Notes

We have good relationships with our all neighbours and they are always ready to help you when needed.
